Marketing Lead

Utrecht
32-40 hours

Will you build the engine behind our growth?

Behaav takes the pressure off CISOs completely when it comes to building an organisational culture in which risk-aware behaviour is second nature. We are looking for a confident Marketing Lead who can accelerate our growth.

What this role is about

We will admit it openly: we are looking for a bit of a jack-of-all-trades. Someone who helps shape the strategy and makes sure it gets done. From positioning and messaging to campaigns, events and lead generation, you take ownership of results. Where needed, you bring in external partners.

What you will do

  • Build a lead generation engine

  • Develop and execute campaigns that align with our personas

  • Set the direction for content and ensure consistency across all channels

  • Organise and conduct events (e.g., round tables)

  • Work closely with the company’s founders to align marketing and sales

  • Manage external agencies and specialists

What we are looking for

  • You have experience in B2B marketing.

  • You have previously built or optimised lead generation engines.

  • You take ownership and do not wait for the perfect structure.

  • You understand how marketing contributes to pipeline and revenue.

  • You are a strong communicator and confident in your approach.

  • You think strategically, but you are pragmatic and not afraid to roll up your sleeves.

You're a great fit if you:

  • Have experience in cybersecurity.

  • Have previously been the jack-of-all-trades in a start-up or scale-up.

  • Have experience with marketing automation.

  • Have experience in developing KPIs, dashboards and optimisation processes (CPL, CAC, conversion rates).

  • Have experience with LinkedIn Ads and Google Ads.

What we offer

  • A culture in which taking ownership is encouraged and where you are given a great deal of trust.

  • A team with expertise in cybersecurity, awareness and behaviour change.

  • Direct collaboration with the company’s founders.

  • Opportunities to learn, both through formal training and in practice.

  • A great deal of enthusiasm and enjoyment during and after working hours.

  • The opportunity to work hybrid.

What this role is not

  • A purely strategic role.

  • A role within a large marketing team with specialists around you. Of course, we bring in expertise where needed.

  • A role in which you are constantly told what to do. We expect you to help shape the direction based on objectives and key results (OKRs).

Who are we?

Behaav helps organisations demonstrably reduce cyber risk through tailored security awareness and behaviour change programmes that lead to lasting, safe habits.

To relieve CISOs of the burden of moving from ad hoc initiatives to a culture in which risk-aware decisions are second nature, Behaav has developed an approach called Bright®. This approach forms the foundation of Behaav’s Managed Security Awareness Services and brings together all the elements needed to design, manage, measure and continuously improve security awareness and behaviour. As a result, CISOs get more than a collection of isolated interventions. They get a managed, risk-driven service that connects security awareness with organisational goals, activates the right stakeholders and delivers measurable results.
