Cybersecurity Escape Experience for companies

Cyber threats are becoming increasingly sophisticated. Employees play a crucial role in this landscape. Our Cybersecurity Escape Room gives your team a first-hand experience of how attacks really work. No theory, but a high-impact simulation that sticks. While e-learning is often quickly forgotten, this interactive training drives real behavioural change.

What is Behaav's Escape Experience like?

The Cybersecurity Escape Experience is a mobile experience that we set up on-site. Working in teams, employees collaborate to recognise, analyse and stop a series of realistic cyberattacks; from phishing and social engineering to ransomware and deepfakes. Your team is put under pressure just like during a real hack, making the lessons far more memorable. This escape room is ideal as a kick-off for a security awareness program or as a powerful addition to any event.

Escape Experience Reviews

Experiences from players

Ministery of Health, Welfare and Sport

Fun puzzles, though it was a bit crowded with two teams in a very small space.

ANWB

The physical puzzles were great fun. It did get easier as you got the hang of the question types. Well varied and enjoyable puzzles.

Albeda

A great teambuilding activity, we laughed a lot.

Ministery of Health, Welfare and Sport

A really fun way to raise awareness in a playful way. It covers all the key themes you need to watch out for.

ANWB

The first task was quite tough. Eye-opening to realise just how much information is out there on social media.

The topics

Themes covered in the Escape Experience

01
Social Media
Using information from public sources and social media, a plan that targets employees within the organization is set in motion. But which groups has the hacker in its crosshairs?
02
Phishing
Phishing emails pose a significant risk to every organization, including yours. Players must analyse emails to determine how the attack was orchestrated.
03
Ransomware
Even though the installation of ransomware was prevented by security software, something is still amiss. Can the players identify a suspicious installation?
04
Physical Access
The hacker seems to harbor a serious grudge against your organization. Even physical access to the building is on the table. It's up to the players to investigate if and where this breach might have occurred.
05
Deepfake
While following the hacker's trail, nothing is as it seems. To successfully stop the attacks, players must continually question whether people are who they claim to be.
Frequently Asked Questions

By Security Managers & CISOs

Is this just 'fun' for the team, or does it actually lead to behavioural change?
Fun is the means, not the end. Research shows that people retain up to 70% more when they learn through experience and emotion (experiential learning) compared to passive knowledge transfer. During the Escape Experience, participants experience the stress, time pressure and manipulation of a real-life hack. That emotional impact ensures the security message truly lands and sticks long after the game is over.
How does the Escape Experience fit with our existing e-learnings and awareness programs?
Think of the Escape Room as the ideal 'booster' or kick-off. While e-learnings provide the theoretical knowledge (the 'knowing'), the Escape Experience sparks motivation and attitude (the 'wanting'). It breaks through ‘awareness fatigue’ and turns abstract security policies into a vivid talking point on the work environment. This enhances your existing compliance efforts.
Is the scenario realistic and challenging enough for both IT staff and non-technical employees?
Absolutely. The scenario focuses on human vulnerability (social engineering, phishing, and procedures) rather than complex coding. This makes it accessible for HR staff, while even seasoned IT managers can still fall for the traps of human manipulation.
What does the Escape Experience cost?
Download our brochure for a detailed breakdown of pricing.
What’s required to play the Escape Room?
Behaav’s Escape Room can be played on-site. You’ll need the following:  A large screen of at least 75 inches with a laptop connection,  stable internet via Wi-Fi and sufficient 5G coverage, whitelisting of the Escape Experience website within your security systems and a space of approximately 50m².
How many people can play at once?
Each session can host up to 16 participants and lasts one hour. We divide participants into smaller teams. This means we can train around 100 employees in a single day.
